The best meal plan in Dubai is the one that fits your goal, your budget and your week, and that you still enjoy eating a month from now. Prices, menus and rules vary a lot between providers. Before you pay, check the nine points below. We also show what plans cost in October 2026 and how Sanos answers each point.
What meal plans cost in Dubai in 2026
We checked the websites of 10 Dubai meal plan providers on 24 October 2026. These are the starting prices they showed.
| What we looked at | What we saw in October 2026 |
|---|---|
| Price per meal | From AED 18 to AED 42 a meal, depending on the plan |
| Price per day, full-day plans | From about AED 60 to AED 155 a day |
| Monthly starting prices | From AED 735 to AED 999 a month |
| Longer plans | Cheaper per day. One plan cost AED 85 a day for 5 days and AED 59.50 a day for 60 days |
Specialist programmes such as a cleanse cost more, up to AED 175 a day in the plans we checked.
A "from" price is the lowest option. Your real price depends on how many meals a day, how many days a week and how many weeks you choose. So use these numbers to sense-check a quote, then work out your own price per day with point 2 below.
1. Your goal and calories
Start with what you want, which is to lose weight, keep it, or build muscle. A good plan asks you this first and sets the food to match.
Find your daily number with our TDEE calculator, then check that the plan's daily calories fit it. For weight loss, eating around 600 calories a day less than you burn is a safe start, according to NHS Better Health. Be careful with very low numbers. Harvard Health advises not going below 1,200 calories a day for women or 1,500 for men without a health professional supervising you. Also check what the calories cover. A plan with two meals a day is not your whole day.
2. Price per day, not per month
A monthly price looks big and a per-meal price looks small, so neither tells you much. Turn every quote into a price per day for the meals you will actually eat.
Here is how. Say a plan costs AED 999 for 4 weeks at 5 days a week. That is 20 days, so about AED 50 a day. If it gives you 2 meals a day, you pay about AED 25 a meal. Now compare that with what you spend today on delivery lunches and coffees.
Then look for extras. One plan we checked asks for an AED 50 refundable bag deposit on your first order. Ask whether delivery is included and whether the price changes when you add weekend days.
3. The real menu and photos
Even one meal a day on weekdays is about 20 meals a month from the same kitchen, so the menu matters more than the homepage. Ask to see the full menu with ingredients, not three hero dishes. Ask how many dishes rotate. One provider we checked rotates more than 50 dishes a week.
Look for real photos of the box as it arrives, on Instagram, in Google reviews or from a friend. Photos taken at home tell you more about portion size than studio shots.
4. Macros you can trust
If you track your food, you need calories and macros (protein, carbs and fat) for each dish. Several plans we checked list them. Ask how the numbers are worked out, and who designs the plans.
Then trust your own results. If a plan promises a deficit and your weight hasn't moved in three weeks, ask the provider to check your portions or your calories. Our calorie deficit guide explains what to expect.
5. Delivery days and times
Some plans deliver every day. Others deliver a few times a week, like one cheaper option we checked that comes three times a week. Fewer drops can save money, but your food sits in the fridge longer, so ask how long each meal keeps and check you have the fridge space.
Then ask the practical questions.
- What is the delivery window, and does it arrive before you leave for work?
- Do they deliver to your area of Dubai, and on weekends?
- What happens if nobody is home?
- Does the food come in a cool bag?
6. Pausing and cancelling
Work trips, summer holidays and sick days happen. The plans we checked needed between 24 hours and 3 days of notice to pause or skip a day.
Before you pay, ask how much notice you need, how long you can pause, whether paused days carry over, whether the plan renews automatically, and what the cancellation and refund rules are. Get the answers in writing, even if it is just a WhatsApp message.
7. Allergies and dislikes
Two providers we checked say they can't guarantee allergen-free meals, because everything is cooked in a shared kitchen. That is honest, and it is the answer you need to hear before you order if you have a severe allergy.
For dislikes, ask whether you can swap dishes or remove an ingredient, and how far ahead you need to tell them.
8. Trial day
Some providers offer a one-day trial or trial plans. A short start lets you test the taste, the portion size and the delivery before you commit to a month. If there is no trial, start with the shortest plan you can buy.
9. Reviews and real photos
Read recent reviews on Google and look for comments on the things that matter to you: portion size, how the food arrives and how problems get sorted out. Photos that customers took at home tell you more than studio shots.

FAQ
What is the cheapest meal plan in Dubai?
In the plans we checked in October 2026, the lowest starting price was AED 18 a meal. The cheapest headline price isn't always the cheapest per day once you add meals, days and extras. Compare the price per day for the meals you will actually eat.
What is a good price for a meal plan?
Most full-day plans we checked started between about AED 60 and AED 155 a day in October 2026. A good price sits in that range and also passes the other checks, with a real menu, clear pause rules and food you like. Compare it with what you spend on food now.
Which meal subscription plan is best?
The one that fits your goal, your budget and your schedule, and that you'll stick with. Run each option through the 9 checks, start with a short plan, and commit for longer once it works. Some plans cost less per day when you commit for longer.
Is a meal plan better than cooking?
It depends on your time and how much you enjoy cooking. If you like to cook, our 7-day weight loss meal plan gives you a full week with a shopping list. For the trade-offs, read meal prep vs meal delivery.
Should I start with a meal plan during the Dubai Fitness Challenge?
It is a good time to start, because you are already changing your routine for 30 days. Our Dubai Fitness Challenge guide shows how to eat for each goal during the challenge.
